The Tortuga Bay Hotel received the Five Star Diamond Award as one of the world's most exclusive hotels, by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.

In turn recognized Vincenzo Calcerano, general manager of the Tortuga Bay hotel, located in Punta RESORT & CLUB, as a hotelier of the year, giving the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award International Hotelier.

The Five Star Diamond Award, which annually delivers the Academy, is an appreciation for the effort and dedication that makes the hotel to offer the best service and hospitality low quality parameters of great luxury.

The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, an association that is globally recognized for excellence in quality of service in the foodservice and hospitality industry.

The president of the Academy, Joseph Cinque, Calcerano congratulated for their effort and commitment in improving the overall quality of hospitality, service, hospitality and catering, while encouraging continued to cultivate success.

Calcerano, said he felt proud to receive this distinction belongs to the entire staff is highly trained in mind what the hotel.

The recognition will be delivered personally by the president of the Academy to executives of Tortuga Bay, in addition there will be a ceremony in New York to formally announce the award.
